It is with deep regret that we are announcing the death of one of our fellow workers, Gilles Sigouin on Monday, July 21, 2008 at the age of 67. Gilles was a member of Local 71 since August 24, 1964. Services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at Jean XXIII church, 1194 St. René Ouest, Gatineau. The family will be in attendance at 10:30 a.m. to receive condolences.

Plumber Apprentices and challengers will be writing the Interprovincial examination using the National Plumbing Code book of Canada 2005. WINCHESTER HOSPITAL

Construction is underway. Modern Niagara is the Mechanical Contractor and PCL is the General. There are currently 7 members working there. This project is good until the end of 2009.
